Assam Tribune is an English newspaper in India. It is published from Guwahati and Dibrugarh, Assam. This is the highest circulated English daily in North-East India. The paper was started on August 4, 1939. Its first edition was published from Guwahati, and later began to publish from Dibrugarh as well. The tabloid is possibly the best newspaper in the North-Eastern Region with a huge readership in Assam. The most popular North-East India’s newspaper has a wide reach in terms of circulation. The son of Radha Govinda Baruah and P. J. Baruah, Prafulla Govinda Baruah, is the current Editor-in-chief of Assam Tribune. Its headquarters is located at Guwahati, Assam.
